Another warm day greeted us after school today. We walked to the park, where we played fox tails on a little knoll on the edge of a field. When we were tired, we made a circle and shared something that had made us feel happy during the last couple weeks. Then we shared about how we could express gratitude for these experiences.
After circle and a snack, honed our stalking skills with a game of “Cougar stalks Deer,” and then stalked down the creek to find a place for our day’s sit spot. Warm afternoons sometimes slip by even faster than normal, and this time we returned from our sit spot and realized that it was already time to head to the rendezvous! We shared our ups and downs of the day, and then said our goodbyes.
See you next Wednesday at the park!
